Welcome
Within a caring and supportive environment, our academic and extra-curricular programmes help to build self-confidence and contribute towards your child achieving their full potential in life. We have a good record of examination successes at GCSE and A level. Pupils are taught by a team of dedicated, well qualified staff and throughout their years at Hulme are challenged to think creatively and independently.
Hulme Kindergarten
At Kindergarten we believe that the first years at school are the most important years of your child's school life. Our aim is to channel the natural enthusiasm of children into a genuine and life-long love of learning. We believe that children learn best when they: are happy; are interested and motivated; achieve success and gain approval; are confident, feel secure and are aware of boundaries; are challenged and stimulated.
Estcourt Preparatory
Estcourt is the Girls' Preparatory for the Hulme Grammar School and educates girls from the ages of 7 to 11. It is situated within a large extended house and has its own Head Mistress and staff. Estcourt is a selective school and admission is by Entrance Examination which is held in January of the academic year in which the girls will be seven.

The School offers an education of sufficient breadth to allow boys to discover and nurture their wider interests and talents. In particular, Hulme Court has excellent musical and sporting traditions.
Grammar School for Girls
An established, successful independent girls' day school with 425 girls between the ages of 11 and 18 years. The School is small enough to provide a caring, friendly and lively environment where the individual is valued and nurtured. Each girl is encouraged to see herself as part of our school community, where integrity and respect for other people are important.
Grammar School for Boys
A well established, successful independent HMC boys' day school with nearly 600 boys between the ages of 11 and 18 years. There are nearly 60 full time members of staff as well as a number of part time specialists. The school is proud of the enormous range of extra-curricular activities on offer. Most boys continue to the co-educational sixth form and sixth form entry from other secondary schools is encouraged.
Sixth Form
The co-educational sixth form prides itself on providing tuition within small groups from experienced and well-qualified teachers, all specialists in their particular subjects. It provides the perfect balance between giving you freedom and making sure the work is done - the perfect balance to allow you to enter the world armed with the best possible preparation.
